Matthew 22:37-39 NLT
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'
The Bible is the inerrant Word of God and we are to be followers of Christ's example. We study it to know the character of God and gain wisdom. We pray to praise his glory, to tap the power that God has over the universe, and to request his blessings and intervention. He does not always give us what we want, but he has a plan, that is bigger than any of us can see or understand in this life.
When we make mistakes...
All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God Romans 3:23 NLT
But we know...
God loved the world so much that he gave his only son to die for us that if we believe in him, we can have
eternal life. John 3:16 He will also help us in this life.
Christians are not perfect people. Far from it. When we repent we will be forgiven. When we die we will see God. Being good is not enough.
